Description Summary
The Software & Professional Services Specialist position will provide very specific focus on the Trimble Heavy Civil Construction (HCC) software portfolio. Responsible to grow SITECH Texoma's software and professional services offerings to current and potential customers in our territory solidifying us as a turn-key construction technology solutions provider.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provides sales and application support internally and to all customers
• Increase market share through the development of new and existing accounts and supporting the sales team
• Perform presale application analysis
• Support the Trimble Navigation HCC Software Portfolio
o BC-HCE- Business Center
 Take Off
 Modeling
 As-builts
• Support the VisionLink User Interface as it applies to:
o 2D/3D Production Monitoring
o Report generation
• Enhance and densify 2-dimensional project drawings into 3D models for machine control
• Provide Professional Services
o Site Calibration / localization
o Site Topography
o Site Staking
• Engage and support our SITECH team and our customers by:
o On-site training
o Job site demonstrations
o Major account interface
o Traveling with sales personnel
o Assist in the identification, procurement and subsequent training of end users. Assist in the development of specific technical communications and training requirements as needed.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; Civil Engineering, mechanical, and educational aptitude to maintain and improve understanding of the application and operation of all software products is preferred. Direct Heavy Civil Contractor experience is preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities:
Possesses mechanical and educational aptitude to improve the understanding, application and operation of all software, survey, and machine control products. Good selling skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Language Skills
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must exhibit a broad understanding of policies, procedures, systems and customer service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively with a group of customers or employees. Confers with customers, representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded areas within the organization. Ensure multi-channel communication throughout the organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
